Two carnivorous and a vegetarian restaurant

It was by chance that in 2004, we(Eric and Pascal) bought a vegetarian restaurant. At that time, we were meat lovers! However, we understood that we had to reduce our meat consumption to continue to appreciate it fully.
Two carnivorous and vegetarian restaurant, where will this lead us?

The Lola Rosa's story is one of awareness and questioning the principles inculcated from our childhood. With a good dose of openness and learning comes acceptance to face the obvious; after 13 years, we have reduced our meat consumption by more than 90%.

The story of a journey

Over the years, our mission has been refined, we do not want to force you and we prefer to let you make your choice. We want to share our culinary expertise, give you tricks and above all, demonstrate that the meat is not as essential as you might think.

The Lola Rosa's story began before us, and we hope it will continue long after.

Over the the years, our mission has been refined, we do not want to force you and we prefer to let you make your choice. We want to share our culinary expertise, give you tricks and above all, demonstrate that the meat is not as essential as you might think.

No compromise on taste

We are passionate restaurateurs. Everything is homemade. Our recipes are inspired dishes 'comfort food'. These are easily accessible and popular for vegetarians and no-vegetarians. Our pride is when carnivores who come to us for the first time are surprised that meatless dishes are so good to eat.

We believe that this essential information to the welfare of the earth must be shared, and that's why we strive every day to serve you recipes that will help you forget a meal at a time, your precious piece of meat.

We have a mission but we are not missionaries! We know that a change in eating habits is not done in one day and we want to help you beacause if you reduce your meat consumption by 10 or 50% you still contribute to help the environment.

Our journey continues and we are constantly working on new recipes and offer more and more vegan recipes.

At Lola Rosa we want our customers(existing and future) to reduce their meat consumption by 10,20,50% and more. We want you to turn to us for answers and inspiration and help you achieve whatever goal you set for yourself and your loved ones. We are working everyday to accompany you to a world with less meat and less problems.

When do we want to reach that stage?
Tomorrow is not too soon

We know that once you taste your first meal with us, you will be convinced that meat is not a "must" like you thought. After that first bite, you will be part of the lola rosa movement. Our goals for you might be unrealistic to some, we like to think they are just the future.

Here is what we envision for whoever ate Lola Rosa

1 year: reduce their meat consumption by 20% (2 to 3 meals a week)
2 to 3 years: reduce their meat consumption by 50% (6 to 8 meals a week)
3 to 5 years: reduce their meat consumption by 75% (10 to 12 meals a week)

We differenciate ourselves by hiring the best talented chefs to come up with real, homemade and cooked recipes. Pleasure of eating and tasting, should not be jeopardized when cooking with no meat, and we make sure it's the opposite.

Whether you want to come and live the full lola rosa experience by eating at one of our full service restaurants, have less time and want to be served quicker by coming to our counters, order online for an at home or office meal, or pick up our grocery products to help you bring a twist to your meal and take credit for it, we make sure that the quality of your food and experience will not make you miss meat.
